it's all about the accents

I had a magical date today with my boyfriend, Mr. Singer.

We needed new curtains for our bedroom after we painted our bedroom furniture. Still budget conscious, I didn't really want to go out and buy new panels for our bedroom reno, so I picked up a few metres of rich, brown fabric at a great sale for $7. I really put it all in on this project — I pressed and everything!

Here are the tops of our new bedroom curtains; just a basic pocket, but I like the little ruched top.

Not bad way to waste away a rainy Sunday afternoon!
